BRUSSELS, April 4 (Reuters) – The European Union must get the job done towards reducing all financial ties with Russia above its “felony” war in Ukraine, German Finance Minister Christian Lindner mentioned on Monday, but forged doubt around an quick embargo on Russian gasoline imports.
“We are dealing with a criminal war,” Lindner in Brussels ahead of talks with his EU colleagues. “It is distinct we must finish as quickly as attainable all financial ties to Russia. Gasoline cannot be substituted in the brief time period.”
